The IMC Masterclass is the group of students who are hosting this event! The Masterclass is a one-of-a-kind course found only at Canisius University, where hand-picked students use integrated marketing and communication (IMC) skills to run an on-campus marketing agency that helps mission-driven organizations make greater impact in the world. This semester's students have ideated, planned and prepared the entire Future Markers Fundraiser event. We can't wait to see you there! Remember, 100% of all proceeds go directly to Future In Our Hands-USA.
FIOH-USA is a 503c(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2005 by two Buffalo women - Sister Linda Glaeser SSJ, and her niece Michele Sprada. For almost 20 years, this small, volunteer-run nonprofit has been funding sustainable projects throughout Kenya and Zambia. Through the IMC Masterclass, Canisius students are working to bring awareness to and raise funds for FIOH-USA so it can continue to impact the futures of men, women and children in impoverished communities.
100% of funds received by FIOH-USA go directly to projects in Kenya and Zambia. Communities submit proposals outlining their needs and how the projects will be sustainable and beneficial for everyone. We fund these initiatives when resources allow, but if not, they remained unfunded.
Before her untimely death in 2020, Sister Linda Glaeser SSJ, co-founder of FIOH-USA, always used to share stories of the people she got to meet in her travels to Africa.
Students like Terrence pictured here are the future makers we get to help. We hope to see you at the fundraiser are we share more stories and make more futures bright
